Ayum

Drummer Rafael Slors and dancer Koen Kaya Eye, together as Ayum, create a powerful live dialogue between rhythm and movement. Their performances are largely improvised, making each one unique: dynamic, and full of mutual connection.

From this collaboration came Chasing the Roll: a blend of drumming, dance, and theatrical elements that takes the audience on a physical and immersive journey. The interplay of beat and movement is both raw and refined, with room for unexpected turns and intensity.

Chasing the Roll is ideal for festivals as a pop-up act or short performance before or after other shows, available in versions from 5 to 15 minutes.
