The Rafael Slors Trio, based in Rotterdam, is an emerging jazz ensemble formed through friendship and shared passion. Comprised of Rafael Slors on drums, Eva Serrano on double bass and Francisco Rodriguez on piano, their close bond fosters a highly interactive musical chemistry. Inspired by artists like Avishai Cohen, Phronesis, and Brian Blade & The Fellowship Band, Rafael Slors creates compositions with rich melodies and rhythmic innovation, drawing from influences like Bach and contemporary styles. This collaborative spirit allows them to delve into diverse musical expressions together. With influences from Mark van Roon and Stefan Livestro, the Rafael Slors Trio is eager to share their unique sound and continue their journey in the jazz world.
